Sachi Dakhlata Foundation

Our foundation is based in Ratlam, at 95/3 Anmol Nagar. We’re quite close to the Devnara area. Ratlam is famous for a lot of things, but for us, it’s just home. The office is a small place in a residential street. It’s quiet for the most part, except for when the local kids are playing outside. Sachi Dakhlata is the name on our door. We started this because we wanted to have a place where things could get done for the community. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of paper and a couple of computers that are a few years old. We don’t have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a small board so people know they’re at the right house. The staff is just a few of us who care about the town. We don’t spend much on advertising because everyone in Anmol Nagar knows where we are anyway. We take things one day at a time. Some weeks are very busy with meetings, and other weeks are just about filing and cleaning up. We don’t pretend to be a big corporate entity. We’re just a local foundation working out of Ratlam. It’s a simple setup, and that’s exactly how we like to keep it. We just open the doors each morning and handle whatever comes our way.
