Evitas Foundation

We’ve been over here at H-100/2 in Aditya Puram for a bit now. Being so close to IATS School means there is always noise and kids running around in the afternoons, but we don't mind it much. Evitas Foundation isn't a big fancy operation with a glass front or anything. It's just us in this spot, trying to handle what comes our way. Some days it’s quiet and we just catch up on paperwork, and other days people drop by asking things. The neighborhood is okay, usually easy enough to find if you know where the school is. We keep the door open when the weather allows. It gets dusty, sure, but it feels more like part of the community that way. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we walk or take a short bike ride in. There isn’t a whole lot of formality going on. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized, though the files sometimes pile up on the corner desk. It’s a small space, really. Just a few rooms and some chairs for whoever stops in. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s about the work we do day to day. If the fan is rattling, someone eventually fixes it with a bit of cardboard. That’s just how it goes here. We’re just glad to have a roof over our heads and a place to get things done in Aditya Puram. It works for us.
