Bholarama Welfare Foundation

Out here in Tehsil Chitrangi, things move a bit slower than in the city. Our foundation is based in the Singrauli district. We focus on welfare for the people living in this area. It is a rugged place, known for its industry, but the people here have real needs that sometimes get overlooked. We do not have a fancy office building. Most of our work happens on the ground, talking to families and seeing what is going on in the villages. Singrauli can be dusty and tough, but we like it here. We are not a big non-profit with a huge budget. We just use what we have got to help where it is needed most. Sometimes that means help with basic stuff or just being a voice for people. The roads out to Chitrangi are not always the best, especially when it rains. But we make the trip because that is where the work is. We do not have a website with glossy photos. We just have our names and our commitment to this place. It is mostly word of mouth. People know who to call if they need something. We try to be fair and honest with everyone. It is hard work and the days are long, but seeing a small improvement in someone’s life makes it worth the trouble. We are just locals looking out for our own.
