Babakhatushyam Charitable Foundation

We are based at 558 Devi Mandir Road in Rampur Kalan, Sabalgarh. The Babakhatushyam Charitable Foundation operates from this small office right on the main road. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of activity outside, especially during festivals. The road can get quite dusty, and the noise of the bells and people walking by is something we have just gotten used to. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a single floor with some basic furniture. We have a few cupboards for our records and a big table where we sit to discuss things. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a fancy coffee machine. We just sweep the floors ourselves and make tea in the back. Sabalgarh is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we don't need to do much to tell people we are here. They just know. We don't use a lot of complicated language when we talk about our work. It is all very straightforward and down-to-earth. We don't have a board of directors in suits. We are just local people trying to do something useful for the community. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't a priority for us right now. We are just focused on the daily tasks that keep the foundation going.
