You can find us right on the Arrah-Patna Road here in Ara. It’s a very busy road, so there's always a lot of noise and traffic moving outside our gates. The school has been here for a while, serving the families in this part of Arrah who need a place for their children to study. We have a set routine that we follow every day without fail. The students come in, we do the morning assembly in the yard, and then it’s straight to the classrooms and the books. It’s a fairly big building, but we try to keep it feeling like a small community. We have teachers who have been with us for years and they know the families well. They remember the older siblings who came through here before. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or expensive slogans. We just focus on the curriculum and making sure the kids understand their math and science. The courtyard gets quite loud during the lunch break, which is usually the part of the day the kids like most. Being on the main road makes us very easy to find, though the traffic can be a real headache during the morning rush. We just do our work and go home. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help the local kids get a decent education so they can do something with their lives. It’s honest work and we take it seriously without making a big fuss about things.
