S T Thomas Mission School

We’ve been here at S T Thomas Mission School for a while now. The school takes up the first, second, and third floors of this building right on the Main Road in Pandeypatti. It gets pretty busy out there on the street, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work or drop kids off. Having the school spread across three floors means there is a lot of walking up and down the stairs throughout the day. People in Buxar know this spot well because it’s hard to miss when you're passing through. The address is 802103 if you're looking for the pin code. We mostly just focus on keeping things running here. There isn't much fancy about it, just classrooms and desks and the sound of the traffic from the road below. Sometimes the 1st floor gets a bit noisy because of the shops nearby but the 3rd floor is a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the windows are shut when it’s dusty outside. Pandeypatti is a lively part of Buxar, so there’s always something happening just outside our door. Most of the staff live nearby, so we just walk or take a rickshaw to the Main Road every morning. It's a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. We don't have a big playground, just the space inside these three floors.
