Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya

We are located on the Main Road in Buxar, so it’s easy for everyone to find us. The school has been part of this community for a long time now. It’s an old building, and you can see that in the thick walls and the heavy wooden doors that have been there for decades. We don't have much in the way of modern technology, but we have plenty of chalk and blackboards that do the job. The morning assembly is usually the loudest part of the day, with all the kids lined up in the courtyard to sing. Being on the Main Road means there’s always the sound of horns and rickshaws passing by right outside our gate. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic, and we have to clean the desks and windows quite often. The teachers here are mostly locals who have lived in Buxar their whole lives. We keep things very simple and traditional in how we run things. There isn't any fancy marketing or big slogans on the walls here. We just open the gates in the morning, teach the classes, and make sure the kids stay safe until their parents pick them up. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily during the monsoon, and we have to move the desks around to stay dry. It’s just a normal school for normal families. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a bit worn out, but it works.
