About Sri Sai International School – Education in Bhojpur
Sri Sai International School is tucked away in Mahavir Tola in Ara. If you are familiar with Arrah, you know that this part of town can get quite crowded, especially during the market hours. Our school building stands out a bit among the houses, and we try our best to keep the front area clean. Every morning, the narrow lanes fill up with rickshaws and parents dropping off their kids. It’s a constant juggle to get everyone inside before the gates close. Inside, the rooms are fairly standard with charts on the walls that the teachers put up. We have a small office where the phone rings more than it should, usually with questions about holidays or uniform colors. The weather in Bihar can be quite harsh, so we are always worried about the water coolers being full. We aren't doing anything fancy here; it's just about following the books and making sure the children learn their lessons. After the final bell rings, the whole building feels suddenly empty and quiet, which is a big change from the chaos of the lunch break. We spend the late afternoons doing paperwork or preparing for the next day's classes. It is a very local operation and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of Mahavir Tola over the years. It is what it is, just a school in the middle of a busy neighborhood where we try to do what we can for the local families.
