Veg Guru Dhani Harsukh Farmer Producercompany Limited is a small group of us here in Village Dhani Harsukh. We are located at Ram Avtar’s house, which is number 15. We mostly focus on vegetables, which is why we picked the name. Growing vegetables in Bhiwani takes a lot of work and constant attention because they are more delicate than wheat or cotton. We started this producer company because we wanted to have a better way to get our produce to the markets. When you grow things like tomatoes or chillies, you have to move fast before they go bad in the heat. Working together helps us manage that and find better buyers. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy furniture. We just meet at the house and talk about what we are planting and how the water supply is looking. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. Most of us have been farming in Dhani Harsukh for as long as we can remember. We don't use any fancy language or try to impress anyone with big words. We just want to grow good vegetables and make a living for our families. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights out in the fields. Being a part of this group makes the hard work feel a bit more manageable for everyone involved. We just take it one day at a time.
