Bhera Farmer Producer Company Limited is out in the village of Bhera, which is part of the Tosham tehsil. Our registered spot is at Khewat Number 390 and Khasra Number 57, specifically Killa Number 14. It sounds like a lot of numbers, but it’s just where the land is. We are a local group of farmers who decided to pool our efforts. Living in Tosham, you get used to the landscape and the way things work around here. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building. It is just a few of us handling the business side of the farm. Most of our time is spent checking the water levels and looking after the crops. We wanted a way to buy seeds and fertilizer together so it's a bit cheaper for everyone. The office is basically just a desk and some chairs where we keep our registers. People in Bhera know us well since we've lived here our whole lives. We don't really care for fancy titles or corporate talk. We just want to get the work done and hope the rains come at the right time. Managing a producer company involves more paperwork than we expected, but we are learning as we go.
