Mldk Farmer Producer Company Limited is from Dhani Kushal in Bhiwani. We are at the home of Sham Sunder, who is the son of Shri Ram Karan. It’s a small village and everyone knows everyone else. Sham Sunder is the one who handles the paperwork at his house. We are all farmers who decided to join up. Farming in Bhiwani has its own set of problems, mostly with the dry weather. We spend a lot of time worrying about the rains. Being a producer company means we can buy things together and maybe get a better price. We aren't experts in business, we are just people who work the ground. My father, Ram Karan, was also a farmer, so it’s in the family. We sit around in the evenings and talk about what we should plant next. There is no big office building. We just use the space we have at the house. Sometimes the neighbors come by and we talk about the latest prices or a new tractor someone saw. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We don't have a website or a big secretary.
