You can find us at Shop Number 2 on Bhisoni Street, which is just near the Goyal Petrol Pump in Siwani. We are a small research group based right here in the Bhiwani district. Even though research is in our name, we are not sitting in labs with white coats. We are out in the dirt, looking at how different seeds grow in our specific soil and weather. It is a practical kind of research that matters to the people here. We wanted to see for ourselves what works best for our local conditions instead of just listening to what the big companies tell us. Being in a small shop in Siwani makes us accessible to the people who actually do the hard work. Farmers drop by all the time to tell us what is happening in their fields or to see what we have found out from our latest tests. It is a very informal atmosphere. We deal with a lot of data, but it is all about getting better yields for the folks around here. The street can be noisy with the traffic from the petrol pump, but it is a good spot to stay connected to the village. We started this because we care about how farming is changing in Haryana. It is not always easy to find the truth about new methods, so we try to test things out ourselves. It is just a few of us trying to make sense of the changes.
