Vrandavan Textiles

Our business is a bit different because we work out of Godown No. 88 G. We are located near the old court, right across from Arihant Stone. For our mail, we use post box number 175. This is not the kind of shop where you would come in to walk around and look at things. It is a warehouse, plain and simple. The floors are made of hard concrete and the ceilings are very high up. There is usually a bit of dust in the air because of the stone business across the street and the heavy trucks that are always pulling in and out of the yard. We have large stacks of textiles piled up everywhere you look. It is a lot of hard physical work, moving heavy boxes and loading them onto the trucks for delivery. The location is slightly away from the main market madness, which makes it easier for the bigger vehicles to get to us without getting stuck in traffic. It is an old building, so it has a few cracks and some character to it. We do not get many visitors except for the drivers and our regular buyers. Most of our day is spent counting the inventory and making sure the orders are ready to go. We have a small desk tucked into the corner with an old computer that we use. It is not a very glamorous job, but we have been here for years.
