Bakers Basket

We've been at Prithvi Plaza for a while now. It's right near Gogha Circle, across from the Rotary Club. Most mornings start early, usually around five or six, getting the ovens ready. Bhavnagar can get quite dusty, so there is a lot of cleaning to do before any customers show up. We make various breads and some sweets too. The shop is small, just numbers 13 and 16, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the day. People from the circle pop in while they are waiting for their rides or just passing through. It is not always easy work, especially when the weather gets hot in the afternoons, but we get through it. Sometimes the deliveries are late, which can be a bit of a headache. We try to keep things organized on the shelves. There isn't much to say about us besides that we are just a local bakery trying to do things right every day. The smells from the oven are probably the most interesting thing about the place. It's a regular spot for the folks who live around here. We know most of the people who come in by name, or at least we know what they usually like to buy. Dealing with the flour and the sugar takes up most of my time. It's just a simple shop in a busy part of town, really. We just keep our heads down and keep the baking going till the sun goes down. It's what we do.
