Bapa Sitaram Lauge

Bapa Sitaram Lauge is sitting right at Shop No 1 in Bhavnagar. We are directly opposite the Omnath Mahadev Temple which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The area around Gogha Jagatnaka is always busy with people going to the temple or heading towards the main city. We have been running this place for a while and it’s mostly for people who need a simple spot to stay for a night or two. It’s not a luxury hotel or anything like that. We have basic rooms and we try to keep the linens clean for the next person who checks in. Being across from the temple means we hear the bells early in the morning but you get used to that pretty quickly. Sometimes we have travelers coming through who are just passing through Bhavnagar and need a rest. The shop downstairs gets quite a lot of foot traffic during the day. We spend a lot of time sitting out front talking to the neighbors when it’s not too hot. Water can be a problem in the summer months so we have to watch the tanks carefully. It’s a simple life here and we just take things one day at a time.
