Vikas International

The office for Vikas International is situated at number 9 on the second floor in Pukhraj Layout. We are just off Bannerghatta Road, which is a very busy part of the city. Since we are on the second floor, we have to walk up the stairs every day, which is good exercise I suppose. The office is quite basic, just two main rooms with desks and some old filing cabinets that are overflowing with papers. We deal with international business, so our hours can be a bit strange. Sometimes we are here late at night or very early in the morning to talk to people in different time zones. It’s just a few of us working here. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for when we need a break. The view from the window is just other buildings and a bit of the layout road. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters by any means. We have some plants on the balcony that we try to keep alive, though we sometimes forget to water them. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just handle the accounts and the logistics as they come. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work and we’ve been doing it this way for years now. We just take things as they come.
