Vinay Textiles

We are located on the first floor of the A.T. Trust Building in Ramannapet. It’s unit number 49. If you know the area, it’s quite a busy spot with lots of foot traffic and vendors all over the place. We deal with textiles, mostly fabrics and materials that people need for their own shops or sewing projects. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when it rains. We have rolls of cloth stacked up all over the place. It can be a bit hard to move around sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t really do fancy displays or mannequins. If someone wants to see a specific color or pattern, we just pull it out from the stack. It’s a very practical way of doing things. Ramannapet has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for years. The staff here is just a few of us who know the inventory well. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people who come by. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the street noise coming up through the windows. We drink a lot of tea and keep the orders moving. It’s not a complicated business. We just sell fabric and try to stay organized. If you’re looking for us, just head up the stairs and look for the door with our name on it. It is usually open during the day and someone is always around to help find a roll.
