Vijay Electro Controls

Our workshop is at number 7 in the Byraveshwara Industrial Estate over in Hegganahalli. It’s a bit of a drive out towards Vishwaneedam, but it’s where all the industrial action is. We work on electro controls, which basically means a lot of wiring, panels, and testing. The place is usually filled with the sound of drilling or the smell of solder. It’s not a very big shop, but we’ve got everything set up so we can move from one task to the next. We don't have a marketing department or a salesperson in a suit. Usually, it’s just us in our work clothes dealing with the blueprints and the components. The estate can get quite dusty, and the roads aren't always the best, but we’ve been here long enough that it doesn't bother us. We started this because we knew how to put these systems together, and we just kept going. Some days are more frustrating than others, especially when a circuit doesn't behave like it should, but we eventually figure it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Bangalore. We just want to do a solid job so the equipment we send out works like it's supposed to. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly focused on the details. We just take it as it comes. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to wait, but that's just life in Hegganahalli. We keep the panels moving regardless.
