We’ve been here at Nalanda Tenaments on Hill Drive for a while now. Bhavnagar gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we just get on with things in the office. It is number 32, easy to find if you know the area. Some of us have lived in this part of Gujarat our whole lives. We handle the structural work for Suzlon Structure Pvt. Limited from this spot. It’s not a big fancy skyscraper, just a regular place where we show up every morning. Sometimes the traffic on Hill Drive gets a bit much when people are heading home, but usually, it's alright. We sit around the desks and look at the plans. There is a small tea stall nearby that we go to when we need a break. It's just a bunch of us working hard to make sure the structures are right. No one here wears suits unless there’s a big meeting. We prefer just wearing regular clothes and staying focused. The neighbors in the other tenements know us by now. It feels like a community. We try to keep our space tidy, but with all the paperwork, it gets a bit messy sometimes. The ceiling fan hums all day. We’ve got some old wooden chairs that work fine. When the monsoon hits, the sound on the roof is loud. We just keep our heads down and get the work sorted. It's honest work, and being in Bhavnagar suits us just fine. We like being local and knowing the people around us.
