Ashiya Steels

We are over here at Ashiya Steels, right across from Street No. 2. If you know the Khumbharwada area on Madhiya Road, you probably know where 124-A is. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we deal with steel all day. The street gets pretty loud sometimes with all the trucks moving in and out, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. Most days it’s just us doing the work, making sure things get done. Steel is heavy and it’s messy work, so we don't worry too much about keeping the floor spotless. People stop by to ask about different bits of metal or just to see what’s going on in the shop. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening right outside the door on Madhiya Road. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time talking to the neighbors than actually working, but that’s part of being in this neighborhood. We don’t have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just this one building and a lot of metal. When the sun goes down, we lock up the gate and head home, then we’re back at it the next morning. It’s a simple life really. We just focus on the steel and the daily tasks that come with it at our Khumbharwada location. It's what we know and what we do.
