South Indian Wangi

We are over at Shop number 5 in the Waghawadi area of Bhavnagar. Our place is right across from the Vodafone store and very close to Parekh Hospital. It is a small shop, mostly meant for people who want a quick bite while they are on the move. We focus on South Indian flavors because that is what we know how to do best. We do not have a lot of room inside the shop, so many people end up standing outside on the sidewalk or taking their food home. The street is usually quite busy with people going to the hospital or visiting the other shops nearby. We open up early in the morning to start grinding the batter and getting things ready for the day. Our staff is just a few local guys who know their way around a stove. We do not wear any fancy uniforms, just our regular clothes with aprons over them. The menu is just written on a small board by the counter. Sometimes we run out of sambar before the day is over. We try to make enough, but it is hard to guess how many people will show up. The 364001 neighborhood is a good place for a small business like ours. We know the other shopkeepers around here. We do not do any delivery apps. You just come to the counter and tell us what you want to eat.
