Solanki Bhojanalay

Our little bhojanalay is located at Shop No 1 in Bhavnagar, right near the Talav and the Business Center. It’s a small space, but we manage to pack a lot of cooking into it every day. We mostly serve local folks who are working nearby or people visiting the lake area. The kitchen starts early in the morning because there’s always something to prep or clean before the lunch rush hits. It’s not a fancy restaurant with menus in leather folders; we usually just tell people what we’ve made for the day. Sometimes it gets a bit hot inside when all the stoves are going, but that’s just how a real kitchen feels. We’ve got a few tables where people sit together, and it can get a bit loud with all the chatting. We don’t spend money on advertising or shiny signs. Most of our customers have been coming here for years, and they know where to find us. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking in and out, but we keep it scrubbed. We just want to make sure people leave with a full stomach and don't have to pay too much for it. It’s a simple life running a food stall like this, but it’s what we know.
