Sardar Steel

Sardar Steel is located at 176/186 in Gidc, Phase - 2. This part of the industrial estate is always humming with activity. We deal mostly in steel products, keeping a good amount of stock in our warehouse. The space is big enough to store long rods and heavy sheets, though it gets a bit tight when a new delivery arrives. Since the phase was still relatively new, we have been operating from this unit. Working with steel is heavy work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. Corporate attitudes aren't for us; we just sell steel to the people who need it for construction or manufacturing. The office is just a small partitioned area near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. Trucks moving in and out of Gidc make it quite loud, but we’re used to it. Money isn't spent on fancy brochures or things like that. Most business comes from the other units in Phase - 2 or people who’ve heard about us through word of mouth. It’s a simple operation. Gates open in the morning, we load the trucks, and we close up when the sun goes down. A steady life is all we need, and the honest work that comes with being in the steel business is good. Rain makes the yard a bit muddy sometimes, but the steel stays covered. Orders are handled as they come and we try not to overcomplicate things for the people buying from us.
