Satyam Garments

We’ve been here at Laxminarayan Nivas for quite some time now. If you know the Khargate area, you probably know where we are, just right behind Vardhman Bank. It gets pretty busy around here during the day. Sometimes we just sit near the front and watch the people going towards Lohana Vadi. Satyam Garments isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle our clothes and talk to whoever walks in. The building itself is an old style place, nothing like those new glass towers you see. We spend most of our mornings unpacking things and making sure everything is in the right spot. It’s a lot of work but that is just how it is. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the bank being so close. People are always coming and going. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We have our tea together when things get quiet in the afternoon. Khargate has changed over the years but our spot near the Vadi feels the same. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just open up, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. Most of our day is just checking stock and making sure the piles of garments are neat. It’s a simple life here in the Nivas. We don’t really think much about being a big company, just staying busy and getting the job done.
