New City Point Restaurant & Banquet

Our place is on the first floor of Himaliya Square in Bhavnagar. If you look out the window, you can see Victoria Park right across the street. It’s a nice view to have while you are eating. We have the restaurant area and then a separate space for the banquets. People book that room for all sorts of things like small weddings or family gatherings. It’s usually quite noisy on those days with kids running around and people talking loudly. We’ve been at this location for some time now. Managing both the regular dining and the big groups in the banquet space can be a lot of running back and forth for the staff. The stairs in the building can be a bit steep so most people use the lift to get up here. It’s not a quiet library kind of place. It’s more of a spot where families come to eat and celebrate things together. Sometimes the banquet hall is booked every day of the week and other times it stays empty for a while. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the schedule gets a bit messy with last-minute changes. The staff stays busy cleaning up after the parties are over. Bhavnagar is a good town to work in. Most of our customers are locals who know the area well. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decorations being perfect or fancy. We just make sure there are enough chairs for everyone who comes. It is a practical space for the neighborhood.
