Neemkathana Farmer Producer Company Limited is run by people who actually know the soil in Sikar. Ashok Kumar Jakhar is the one handling things over at Puranabas. We decided to get together because doing everything alone as a single farmer is just too much these days. It is not like we have some big plan to change the world, we just want to sell our crops and get the supplies we need without getting cheated. Being in the 332713 area, we all know each other anyway. Some days are slow and some are incredibly busy depending on the season. We don't use fancy words or have a polished front desk. Usually, someone is just writing things down in a notebook or checking the grain quality. It gets hot here, and the work is tiring, but having this company helps us stay a bit more organized. Most of us grew up farming, so this is just an extension of that. We focus on what is practical. If a tractor breaks or the rain doesn't come, we talk about it. It’s about being a community of growers. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition alive while making it a bit more sustainable for the next generation. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really like, but it’s necessary to keep things official. We just do our best with what we have.
