Yes Travellers Corner

We are located in the shopping complex at Haji Ali in Jayanagar, at shop number 10. Yes Travellers Corner has been our main focus for many years. We mostly sell suitcases, duffel bags, and various travel accessories for people going on trips or moving away. It is a quiet little corner of the complex, but we actually prefer it that way. Jayanagar is a very pleasant place to work every day. We see a lot of families coming in during the months before school holidays start. The shop is not very large, so we have to stack the suitcases quite high up towards the ceiling. You have to be careful when you are pulling one down for a customer. I usually do all the heavy lifting myself. My assistant helps with cleaning the glass and talking to people when I am busy. We do not use big words or try to push people into buying things they do not really need. If a bag is clearly too big for someone's needs, we just tell them honestly. It is better to be helpful than to just make a sale. Sometimes we have tea with the tailor who works in the shop next door. We do not have any corporate rules or policies here. We just show up at ten and close when the market gets quiet in the evening. It is a simple, local business that has been here for quite some time.
