Our facility is at No. 240 in the Sompura Industrial Area, which is out in Nidavanda Village near Dabaspet. It is quite a distance from Bangalore city, specifically out towards Nelamangala. We are in the business of making industrial bags. These are the large, heavy-duty bags used for carrying things like grain or chemicals in bulk. The industrial area is a very busy place with lots of factories and trucks moving around all day long. Our unit is quite large because we need the space for the cutting and stitching machines. It is a noisy environment with the sound of the equipment running constantly. Most of our workers are from the local villages around Dabaspet. We don't have a polished corporate office. The floor is concrete and there are stacks of fabric and finished bags everywhere. Our daily routine involves checking the stitching and making sure the bags are strong enough for the weight they have to carry. We don't spend any time on fancy brochures or glossy ads. We just focus on getting the production numbers right and shipping the orders out to the companies that need them. The air out here is a bit dusty because of all the construction and industrial work. It is a tough, practical manufacturing environment. We’ve been operating here in the Dabaspet Sompura Industrial Area for a while and it suits our production needs perfectly. We just keep our heads down and get the work done every day without much fuss.
