We are located on the 2nd floor of No. 153 on 1st Main Road, 3rd Cross in Ramachandrapuram. Being on the second floor means we are carrying a lot of heavy rolls of material up and down the stairs quite often. It’s good exercise, I suppose. The area around Ramachandrapuram is very busy with textiles and shops everywhere. Our space is basically one large room where everything happens. We have the cutting area at one end and the assembly at the other. It’s often quite messy with scraps of fabric and thread all over the floor, but we sweep it up at the end of the day. The lighting isn't the best, so we have these big overhead lamps that we use when we’re doing the detailed work. It can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once, so we usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we are doing, you just come up the stairs and see us at the machines. It’s a very basic setup. Most of our days are spent just keeping up with the orders we have. We don't have any corporate titles or formal meetings. We just talk over the work and get it done. It’s a tight-knit little group we have here. We just keep our heads down and finish the bags.
