Softlite Luggage Pvt Ltd is set up over at Diamond Park. We are right off National Highway 8 in the Basaveshwara Nagar area. Being near the highway makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out, which is good for us. We make bags and suitcases. It’s a lot of stitching and checking zippers all day long. The factory floor is pretty noisy with all the machines running. We have a group of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know what they are doing. We aren't trying to be a world-famous brand. We just want to make luggage that doesn't break after one trip. Sometimes the materials we get aren't exactly what we ordered, so we have to send them back. That slows things down, but we deal with it. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main area. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer. We drink a lot of water and just keep going. It’s a practical business. People need bags, and we make them. Nothing more to it than that. We’ve been at this Diamond Park location for a while. It’s a good spot for a manufacturing unit. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just rows of sewing machines and finished stacks of bags waiting to be sent out.
