Standard Life Bags

We are located at 12 Devarjeevanalli, and if you walk past, you’ll probably hear the sewing machines going. Standard Life Bags is a small setup where we spend our days with fabric and thread. We make all sorts of bags. Some are for school kids, others are for people going to work or traveling. It’s a lot of cutting material and making sure the zippers don’t get stuck. Devarjeevanalli is a crowded place, and our workspace is usually full of rolls of cloth and finished stock piled up in corners. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. We just focus on the stitching. Sometimes the thread snaps or a needle breaks, and we just fix it and keep going. We aren’t a huge brand that you see on TV. We are just local people making something useful that won't fall apart after a week. The lights stay on late quite often when we have a big order to finish. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy. We see a lot of people coming in to pick up bags for their shops or for themselves. We just write down the orders in a notebook and try to get them done on time. It is a basic life, just making bags at our place. We don’t do much else besides sewing and packing up the finished items for delivery.
