Yashas Minerals is situated at 98/1 on Old Madras Road. If you know where the Royal Residency Hotel is in Virgonagar, then you know exactly where we are because we are right near it. Being on Old Madras Road means there is a constant stream of trucks and buses flying by all day long. It gets quite loud, and sometimes it is hard to hear yourself think when the windows are open. Inside, we are mostly focused on the daily routine of bottling and checking stock. We have a small office where the files are stacked up, and the floor is usually a bit damp from the work we do. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning and plush chairs. We have a few plastic stools for when visitors come by to talk about orders. The area around Virgonagar has changed a lot lately, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the drivers who have to navigate the traffic out here. Sometimes a delivery that should take twenty minutes takes an hour because of a jam near the hotel. We just take it as it comes. It’s honest work, and it keeps us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done at 98/1. It can be a bit draining with the noise, but that is part of the location.
