Our place for Weir Minerals India Pvt.Ltd is at No. 4, on the 7th Main in the Nandha Gokula Layout. This is in the Shampura area of Bangalore. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer for getting our work done. The layout is mostly residential, so we have houses all around us. It makes the work day feel a bit more relaxed than being in a crowded industrial estate. We are in a simple building that serves as our base. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address on the gate. Inside, it’s all business. We have our desks, a couple of computers that have seen better days, and a lot of binders full of technical specs for the minerals. The 7th Main is a nice street with a few big trees that give some shade during the middle of the day. Sometimes we take our breaks outside just to get some fresh air. The people living around here are friendly enough, and we try not to make too much noise when we have deliveries. Shampura is a decent part of town, not too far from the city center but far enough to avoid the worst of the traffic chaos. We start our day early, usually around nine, and stay until the work is finished. It’s a lot of coordinating with other offices. We don't have a lot of visitors, so it stays pretty focused and quiet in the office.
