Weir Minerals India is located over in Gorguntepalya, right by Platinum City. Being near Cmti means there is always a lot of industrial activity around us. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a casual stroll. It is a busy zone with trucks and heavy equipment moving through the gates constantly. We deal with minerals and the equipment used to process them, so everything here is built to last. The office is functional and does what it needs to do without being flashy. We spend our days looking at technical specs and coordinating with people on the ground. The weather in Gorguntepalya can get dusty with all the construction and movement, but that's part of being in this part of the city. We have a lot of heavy components sitting around, and the staff is usually busy on the phone or checking shipments that come in near the back entrance. It’s a serious environment because the gear we handle is used in big operations. We don't have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. We just focus on the logistics of getting mineral equipment where it needs to go. Sometimes the traffic near Cmti makes things slow down, but we just work through it. It’s a steady place with people who have been doing this for years and know the machinery inside out.
