Weir Minerals India Ltd

Our office for Weir Minerals India Ltd is tucked away in Rajajinagar, specifically on the 24th Cross in the 2nd Block. Being in Bangalore-10 is handy because it’s a pretty central area, though the parking can be a real headache if you don’t arrive before nine in the morning. The building is 126 A, and it’s a solid, simple place for what we do. We have been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the sign anymore to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. We don't have any of those fancy modern lounge areas, just some sturdy chairs and a table where we eat our lunch. The Rajajinagar area has changed a lot lately with new shops popping up all the time, but our corner stays more or less the same. During the monsoons, the street gets a bit flooded near the curb, so we have to watch our step coming into the building. Most days are pretty quiet, just the sound of typing and the occasional loud truck passing by outside on the cross road. We usually bring our own tiffins from home and eat together in the small back room by the window. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We handle the technical side of the minerals business, making sure orders are processed. It’s a lot of routine, but we like the stability of being here.
