Sai Minerals

Our office is over at Sarjapura Kadak Bazar 49, which is a busy part of the neighborhood with plenty of people walking by all day. We deal with minerals and raw materials, so the space is often filled with small samples and bags of different stones and powders we are testing or showing to people. It’s not the cleanest environment because of the nature of what we handle, but we try to keep the paperwork away from the grit. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and we often see the same people passing by every morning on their way to the market. The building is an older one, and the door sometimes sticks when the weather gets humid, but we’ve learned how to give it a good kick to get it open. We have a couple of sturdy tables where we weigh things out and write down the numbers in our ledgers. It’s a very practical sort of place without any unnecessary furniture or decorations on the walls. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking the quality of the loads that come in from the quarries. It can be a bit loud when the heavy vehicles rumble past on the bazar road, but that is just part of being in this location. We just focus on the rocks and the minerals and making sure the weights are right before anything leaves the shop.
