Woodstock Silk Exports

Our place is at 53/4 in the Koramangala Jakkasandra New Extension, over in the 4th Block. We deal with silk, so the office is often filled with rolls of fabric and boxes ready to be sent out. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, not right on the main commercial roads, which makes it a little quieter. We spend our time checking the quality of the silk and making sure the orders are packed correctly for export. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy bolts of cloth and dealing with shipping labels. We’ve been in Koramangala for a good while now and have seen the neighborhood grow around us. The 4th Block is a nice area, but it can get congested with all the delivery vans coming and going. Sometimes the colors of the silk are so bright they light up the whole room. We don't have a retail counter where you can just walk in and buy a meter of cloth; we mostly handle the bigger export orders. It’s a small team here, and we all pitch in with the heavy lifting when a big shipment needs to go out. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just making sure the silk gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s a lot of coordination with suppliers and shipping agents, but we’ve got a good rhythm going after all these years. It’s just how we spend our days.
