Vivek Agro Foods

You’ll find Vivek Agro Foods on the second floor of Red Cross Bhavan, specifically in suite S-4 within the Esteem Arcade on Race Course Road. It’s a decent location, though the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is busy. We work mostly with agricultural products, so our office is often filled with the smell of different grains and samples. It’s a small operation, really. A few of us sit here and manage the sourcing from different farms and the sales to various vendors. The Race Course Road area is a bit more orderly than some other parts of town, but it still has its busy moments. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking to brokers. There isn't any fancy jargon used in our meetings; we just talk about what’s available and what it’s going to cost. Sometimes the weather affects the crops and we have to scramble to find new suppliers. That’s just the nature of agro foods. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with delivery dates and a lot of sticky notes. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the direct approach and just getting things done without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the local market quite well by now.
