Our place is located at 145/2 in Bennigana Halli, right along the Old Madras Road. It’s a bit of an older area, but it works well for us. We handle essences and various chemicals. When you walk into the building, there is often a faint smell of different oils or industrial ingredients, which we’ve all gotten used to by now. It’s a practical setup. We have a small office in the front and the storage area in the back where we keep the drums and jugs. Most of our day is spent filling orders for food companies or people making soaps and perfumes. We don’t have a big sales pitch. We just tell people what we have in stock and what the price is. The traffic on Old Madras Road can be a real pain when we are trying to load the delivery vans, but we manage. We’ve been around for a good bit of time. The staff here is small, and we mostly look after the inventory and the shipping labels. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We focus on making sure the mixtures are right and the bottles don't leak. Sometimes we get a bit backed up when a big shipment arrives, but we eventually sort it out. It’s just a local business doing its thing without any fuss.
