Our engineering firm is tucked away in a house called Shivaraj at number 2675. It’s on the 7th Main, 8th Cross in the RPC Layout part of Vijaynagar, Bangalore. It’s a busy neighborhood with plenty of small shops and houses, and we’ve been part of it for a while. We use the ground floor for our technical work. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a workspace where we have our computers, some drawing boards, and plenty of rolls of blueprints. We focus on mechanical designs and small engineering projects for various clients around the city. Usually, the place is a bit cluttered with half-finished models and spare parts. It’s just a few of us working here, so the atmosphere is pretty casual. We often have tea from the stall at the corner while we discuss how to fix a design flaw or meet a deadline. People in the area know us as the "engineers in the Shivaraj house." We don’t do any big advertising; we just rely on the work we’ve done before to bring in new projects. Sometimes we stay late into the night when a big project is due, and you can see the lights on from the street. It’s a practical, local way of running an engineering business, and it suits us just fine. We like being in Vijaynagar because everything we need is just a short walk away.
