Skanda Engineering Bangalore

We are tucked away in Abbigere Village, right next to the Bescom office on Lakshmipura Main Road. Skanda Engineering Bangalore is basically a big workshop where we do a lot of mechanical and fabrication stuff. You can hear the hum of the electricity from next door sometimes. The road is always busy with bikes and those local buses that zoom past. Inside, we have our machines set up in a row. There is always someone welding or drilling, so you have to be careful where you walk. It is a bit of a maze with all the metal parts and half-finished jobs lying around on the floor. We have got a small office at the front with a couple of chairs, but we mostly stay in the back where the real work happens. The floor is concrete and has seen better days. We get a lot of locals coming in for small repairs, and then we have the bigger jobs that take a couple of weeks. It is a mix of everything. The air is thick with the smell of scorched metal and engine oil. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a group of us working hard to get things done on time. In the evenings, the village gets a bit quieter, but we are usually still here finishing up. It is a decent spot to work, even if it gets crowded with all the equipment.
