Vignesh Engineering

Our workshop at Vignesh Engineering is located at No. 75, 4th B Cross in the Gudna Industrial Estate. It is a noisy place because there is always some kind of machine running or someone banging on metal. We have been here for years, and the floor is pretty much permanently stained with oil and grease, which is just part of the work we do. We handle a lot of small engineering jobs, fixing broken parts or making new ones from scratch when someone brings us a drawing. It is not a clean showroom by any means; it is a working shop with tools everywhere. My small team and I spend most of the day in blue overalls, getting our hands dirty and making sure the lathes and milling machines are doing what they should. Most of our customers are from other shops in the industrial estate who need something done quickly. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when we have the welding torches going in the back. We usually just sit on some old stools near the door when we take a break for tea. We don't have a website or anyone to answer the phones professionally. If you call, one of us will just stop the machine and pick up. That is how we have always done things here. It is just honest, hard work that keeps us going through the week.
