Vijaynagara Bimba

My name is Ramesh and I’ve been running Vijaynagara Bimba here on 33rd Road for a few years now. We are located at 195 in the 2nd Stage of Vijayanagar. It’s a busy area, but our spot is easy to find if you know the neighborhood well. I started this because I wanted a place where local people could just come and see what we do. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working every day and trying to keep things moving. We deal with various things depending on what people ask for when they walk through the door. Sometimes the place gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough for visitors. Usually, I am the one you will see first, or maybe my nephew if I am out running errands. We do not have a big team or a lot of complicated rules here. If you need something, you just come by and talk to us. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, more shops opening up and more traffic, but we have stayed right here in this same building. People know us as the place on the corner near the old banyan tree. We open early most mornings, around nine, and stay until the sun goes down. If the lights are on, we are probably inside working on something. It is just how we live and work here.
