Venkateshwara Engineering Works

Venkateshwara Engineering Works is located at D 391 in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at the 1st Cross of the 1st Stage. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly about the sound of machines and people moving heavy things around. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the gate has seen better days, but it still shuts fine. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s engineering for you. We usually have a few projects going on at once, so there are always tools lying around and sketches pinned to the walls. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front office looks. As long as the machines are running and the work is moving along, we are happy. The 1st Stage is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. Delivery trucks are always trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the morning tea break and the way the light hits the back of the shed in the evening. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. No one here is trying to be anything other than what we are. We just take the metal and the parts and do what needs to be done. It’s hot in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. It gets the job done most days without much fuss.
