Vedadri Minerals

Vedadri Minerals is located in Singasandra. Our place is on the 8th Cross, just off the Hosur Main Road. It is building number 33/11. Being near the main road means there are always big lorries passing by. The area is quite industrial and there is a lot of dust from all the construction nearby. We deal with minerals and stones all day long. It is heavy work and we are often tired by the time evening rolls around. The office is just a small cabin where we keep our records. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the windows open. Sometimes the noise from the traffic makes it hard to hear on the phone. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for a long time. We know the rhythm of the trucks coming in to load up. The ground is usually covered in fine powder from the materials we handle. It gets on your shoes and your clothes. We don't worry about it too much. We focus on the orders and making sure the counts are right. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten together. We see the same faces every day at the small shops on the corner. It is a straightforward life. We just do our bit and go home when the sun goes down.
