Vasant Realtor is our place in the Bda Complex at Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar in Ghatlodia, right near the Cafe Day. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the cafe is, so it makes giving directions a lot easier for people coming from other parts of the city. We spend half our time in the office and the other half driving around looking at different properties and houses in the area. It’s a lot of keys, paperwork, and waiting for people to show up for their appointments. Some days are really busy with people wanting to see houses, and other days we’re just sitting here drinking tea and waiting for the phone to ring. We’ve been around Ghatlodia for quite a bit, so we know which streets are quiet and which ones get too much noise from the traffic. The Bda Complex itself is always humming with people doing errands or visiting the other shops. We keep a lot of maps and brochures scattered around the desk, mostly just to keep track of what’s available for rent or sale. It’s not a fancy life, just helping people figure out where they want to live or set up a small shop of their own. We deal with landlords and tenants and all the small arguments that come with that kind of thing. If you’re ever near the Cafe Day, you can see our office right there in the complex. We’re usually around unless we’re out at a site showing someone a flat.
