Realestate Television

We work out of San Orchids, number 17/1, near the HDFC Bank on Sarjapur Road. If you know Bangalore, you know that Sarjapur Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic and construction. We’re right in the middle of it. We do stuff with real estate and television, which basically means we spend our time filming properties and talking about the market. Our office is usually full of camera bags, tripods, and a lot of tangled wires. It isn't the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time out in the sun at different building sites, and then we come back here to try and make sense of the footage. It’s a lot of work to show a house properly on a screen. We don't use any scripts or anything like that; we just talk about what we see. The area around Ambalipura has grown so much lately. We see new apartments popping up every month. We’ve been here long enough to remember when there was a lot more green space. Now it’s all concrete and cranes. We just try to keep up with it all and give people a clear idea of what’s happening in the market. We aren't trying to sell anything ourselves; we just report on what’s happening. It’s a busy life, and we are usually pretty tired by the time Friday rolls around. There is always something new to film.
