Varun Cabs

You can find our office over in Wilson Garden on the Main Road. We are at number 202, up on the first floor. It is right near the Subramanya Temple Street, which makes it easy to find. We are Varun Cabs. Being on the first floor means we can look down at all the traffic while we work. It’s a small office, mostly just desks, phones, and a few chairs for drivers who are waiting for their next trip. We spend the whole day answering calls and trying to coordinate where everyone needs to go. It can get pretty frantic when the rain starts or when there’s a big event in the city. Wilson Garden is always packed with vehicles, so we spend a lot of time on the radio talking about which roads are blocked. We are just a local team trying to keep the cars moving. We don't have any of those fancy apps or big corporate systems. We just use our ledgers and our phones. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who have been using us for years. They know our voices when they call. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with tea cups and paperwork, but that is just the way it is. We aren't trying to be anything other than a reliable place to get a ride. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting, but it keeps the business going.
