Udaya Travels

Udaya Travels is based at No.38, right across from the Lake Junction in the Ulsoor area. It is a very busy part of the city where Tank Road and Meanee Avenue Road come together, so there is always a lot of traffic noise outside our door. We spend our days managing vehicle schedules and talking to drivers who are usually in a hurry. The office itself is quite small and a bit cluttered with old ledgers and maps pinned to the walls. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait, but mostly it is just us working through the logistics of getting people from one place to another. Being near the lake is nice, but we rarely have time to go and look at the water because the phones are always ringing. We have seen a lot of changes in the Ulsoor neighborhood over the years, with new shops opening and closing all the time. Our routine is pretty much the same every morning, starting with a lot of coffee and a long list of things to do. It can get stressful when a car breaks down or a driver gets stuck in a Bangalore traffic jam, which seems to happen more often than not these days. We aren't a massive company with a big marketing budget. We are just a local business trying to keep our fleet moving and our customers reasonably happy with their rides.
