Kamals Glass Shoppe

Our little shop, Kamals Glass Shoppe, is tucked away on 80 Feet Road in HBR Layout. If you know where the Andhra Bank is, we are just right there at Shop No. 1, No 2324-9. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always dust and the sound of horns, but we like being in the middle of everything. We have been handling glass for a long time, and our space is filled with offcuts, mirrors, and different types of window panes leaning against the walls. It is a bit cramped in here, and you have to be careful where you step so you don’t trip over a crate. Most days involve us measuring out sheets of glass or talking to folks who come in because a window at their house broke or they need a new mirror for the bathroom. We do a lot of the cutting right here, so there is often that scratching sound of the glass cutter and the smell of cleaning spray. We are not some big showroom with bright lights and salesmen in suits. It is just a straightforward shop where we work with our hands. Sometimes we are out on a site helping someone fit a large pane, so the shop might be quiet for an hour, but usually, one of us is here to answer questions. We just take things one order at a time and try to get the edges smooth.
